Toronto Beer Festival
Is the best beer festival in Ontario?!
Summer, Beer, Music… What could be better? It was my first visit to TBF, and honestly I have been impressed how good is it. Mostly everything was perfect. Being at the festival I did notice is a lot of young crowd, 20-35 ... And unexpectedly a lot of girls.. Even theoretically you can date or find your love at this festival. Everyone was looking really happy. And thanks a lot to organizers for easy accessible plain water, tree shadows under the hot sun and refresh stations.
There was really a lot of different kinds beers. It is impossible to try even a half of it ... I saw new beers, classics, imports, light and strong ... everyone could find his own beer. One of my favourites becomes never established brewery Mc Gargles with Knock Knock Ned?s IPA , and unusual Light Rail brewed by Cassel Brewery. This beers was delicious. Sorry but I don’t understand people who was staying in line to have Coors Light or Budweiser. Honestly when you go to such kind of event - you should try different beers and explore whole world of beers.
Event was really nice and each brewery was trying to impress by different games and activities. There was a lot of collectables and giveaways. But also there was couple downsides: could be more garbage bins and toilets. 2 tokens for small sample is too much and it was puzzling 1 token or 2 tokens. And live music at main stage did not impress me at all. But it's easy to compensate by different sounds stages thru the site.. And yes - for sure I am going next year and wish to become this event as best beer festival in South America.
