Silversmith Brewing CO.
It’s build in an old church
Silversmith Brewing Co. is located between Niagara District Airport and Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you’re planing to visit this region anytime soon, i suggest you to stop by Silversmith Brewing Co. One of the main reasons to visit this place is because it’s build in an old church. That’s probably why the atmosphere is enjoyful. While renovating, the owners tried their hardest to keep the unique and unusual features of this place while still making it look like a brewhouse, and to be honest i think they succeeded. Silversmith brewhouse is a one floored building, when you walk in you see a small shop (with not only beer) which smoothly flows into the main hall which a kitchen and a bar. And right next to the bar is the door leading to the brewing room.
I noticed that the windows there are big and colorful, also the wooden ceiling looks like it was there even before the renovation, it looks old but it fits the new design perfectly. The kitchen is on a stage that used to be used by the priest to deliver his speeches, which is pretty original too if you ask me. From the outside Silversmith brewhouse looks really cozy, especially in the summer sinse there’s lots of greens. A while ago their patio opened…
Cuisine and Beer
Staff: The staff is friendly. They will help you to understand the menu and selection of beers, also they know the history of Silversmith brewhouse, which means you should not hesitate to ask them anything. Yes, and it’s just very nice to see how the people are proud of the place they work in. Cuisine: The menu is not very large, they said “all menu items have been created to pair with our beers” there for anyone can find something for himself. Their wurst will be good with any beer you will order there. There is great selection of own beer and guest taps. All of the beer is great and worth to try.
