Niagara Oast House Brewers
Great brewery in Niagra county
If you’re planing to visit the Niagara region, then you just might wanna stop by Oast House Brewers, and even if you don't like beer this would still be a great place to visit. Oast House Brewers is an old barn rebuild to look like a brewhouse, it is an hour away from Toronto and 40min away from Niagara. This place looks really cozy and I'm not sure if it's because it's not in the middle of a big, loud, city or because there's a huge vineyard and it seems like you’re visiting your old friend that’s always happy to see you.
The Oast House place has a free parking and just a couple months ago they build a new patio. It's a great place for people that like the outdoors. This is what the people themselves said about the patio “beer patio, sustainably constructed from double shipping containers, with a flip-up bar. Two levels with the incredible views of the vineyards”. As soon as you enter, you end up in the main hall with the bar and the souvenir shop and locally brewed beer. As you keep walking you can see a glass wall which has some beer tanks and a free ping pong table in a smaller hall. There is also a second floor with its own bar and a Hayloft lounge with 170 inch screen and a great view that opens up to the vineyard from a balcony (the balcony can be booked for your own private party).
Beer and Food
At the Oast House Brewers you can also have a nice meal but only on fridays in the summer. (served by your local Chief Adam). But if you happen to pass by on the weekend, don't worry there's still things to do there; book tours and tastings where you will learn in details how the beer is made and at the end you’ll get samples. But the time is limited so stay tooned.
